About the Author - Eoin Walsh

Currently studying for a Masters in Management of Internet Systems Eoin arrived in Connemara in 2008 having married a local Connemara girl, Eithne from Minna. In June 2009 they welcomed a son, Jack Coleman Breathnach, into the world. Eoin also has two Step Children, Anna and Fionn. 

Eoin worked for a large multi-national fianace company for 18 years before becoming a Sole Trader and offering local IT Solutions to the Community www.galwaypc.com. Eoins professional background in IT streteches from Operations, Help Desk, Remote Support, Technical Administration, Server Farm Managment, IT Security, Programming & Maintenance to Change Control Management & Systems Analysis.

Eoin has also Project Managed Humanitarian relief teams in Ethiopia and North Kenya over a 5 year period within the Africa Projects arm of the Lasallian Developing World Projects

Eoin has also studied in the National College of Ireland while completing a Fetac Grade 7 Certificate in Managing Organisations in the Voluntary and Community Sector during 2006 &2007. Eoin has also completed a Business course with The Galway City Partnership and established the www.galwaybusinesspartnership.com website which was released in April 2011.

Eoin recently received a distinction from the Atlantic College, Galway for a Certificate in Train The Trainer (2011). 

It is now Eoins goal to immerse himself in the local culture of Connemara and become a speaker of our National Language. He firmly believes the uniqueness of our Language and Culture is imperative to the future development of our local Community and Country as a whole.
